We are pleased to welcome Matthew Harwood as the new CEO of ICA-Finance AS.

Matthew joins us at an exciting stage of the company’s growth, as we continue expanding our work across carbon markets, methane abatement, and large-scale greenhouse gas emission reduction projects across the Middle East, Africa and Central Asia.

With deep experience across energy, climate, chemicals, EPC, clean technology, M&A and international business, Matthew will lead ICA-Finance AS into its next chapter. He'll be strengthening our position in carbon and climate finance and accelerating impactful emission reduction initiatives at scale.

Matthew previously was on the Board of Directors of ICA-Finance AS, representing our investors Climate Investment (CI) where he served as the Chief Strategy Officer and MD Impact and LP Engagement. He brings a wealth of experience from companies such as Shell, Petrofac, McDermott International, Ltd, Econic Technologies Ltd, Net Power, ScottishPower and others. He has also supported environmental research internationally with advisory roles for the UK's NERC: Natural Environment Research Council and Circular Plastics NL.
